We will have an open PhD or PostDoctoral position in my laboratory at the Institute of Plant Molecular Biology (IBMP), University of Strasbourg, France (http://www.ibmp.cnrs.fr/)
The research in our laboratory is focused on understanding basic principles of translation control in plants, and the role of target of rapamycin (TOR) in translation. We study TOR-containing functional complexes and TOR signal transduction pathways in plants. We use genetic, molecular biology, cellular and structural approaches to resolve ribosomal complexes, and bioinformatics to develop ribosomal profiling techniques to detect ribosome footprints on translated mRNAs.
The successful PostDoc candidate should hold a PhD in biochemistry, plant genetics or related areas and experience in molecular and cellular biology. It is beneficial to have experience in protein expression and purification.
Applicants should submit cover letter, curriculum vitae (CV), and contact information for three references directly to Dr. Lyubov Ryabova (firstname.lastname@example.org).
