BostonGene is opening an opportunity to join our expanding R&D team. As a Bioinformatics Scientist specializing in Liquid Biopsy, you will be an integral part of our R&D team, working on impactful projects.

Liquid Biopsy - a novel non-invasive technique for longitudinal analysis of treatment response and disease reoccurrence.

Location: Yerevan, Armenia

What will you do:

• Collaborate with the team to test and optimize bioinformatics tools used for variant calling in the context of Liquid Biopsy data.
• Contribute to the enhancement of existing tools and the exploration of new solutions.
• Perform thorough validation analyses to assess the reliability and accuracy of developed bioinformatics approaches.
• Ensure the robustness of algorithms and methodologies for interpreting liquid biopsy data.
• Design and plan experiments aimed at optimizing algorithms for liquid biopsy data analysis.

• Master's degree in bioinformatics, computer science, biology, or other relevant spheres.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in bioinformatics (e.g., Python, R).
• Fluent in English and Russian (verbal and written communication skills).
• Working experience with Linux/UNIX systems at a user level Knowledge of AWS cloud services.

Nice to have:

• Experience in NGS QC analysis and skills in bioinformatic tools parameters optimization for different sequencing platforms.
• Experience with variant calling methodologies and validation processes.
• Experience with cancer-related projects.
