About the Role

We are looking for a scientist with a strong background in biology and proven grant-writing experience to develop competitive research proposals in aging and regenerative medicine.

You will work closely with experimental and computational research groups, turning early-stage scientific ideas and preliminary findings into clear, well-structured, submission-ready grant applications. This role combines scientific writing, research development, and coordination across multiple research teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop grant proposals together with experimental and computational research groups.

• Formulate central hypotheses and build a clear scientific narrative around them.

• Define specific aims, research plans, milestones, and expected outcomes.

• Coordinate the preparation and presentation of preliminary data.

• Ensure that experimental and bioinformatics work supports the objectives of upcoming applications.

• Review relevant scientific literature and incorporate current evidence into proposals.

• Manage the scientific development of applications from the initial discussion through final submission.

• Contribute to research papers and scientific reviews arising from funded projects.

Requirements

• PhD in biology, neuroscience, regenerative medicine, aging research, or a related field.

• Significant personal contribution to at least one successfully funded grant application.

• Excellent scientific writing skills in English.

• Experience working with experimental and/or computational research groups.

• Strong understanding of research design and the ability to evaluate preliminary scientific data.

• Ability to independently structure complex scientific ideas and turn them into a clear proposal.

• Strong coordination skills and the ability to move projects forward across multiple contributors.

Experience preparing grant applications for US or European funding organizations will be a strong advantage.
