We're a US-based biotech startup, Uniphage Inc. We're currently researching new ways to use deep learning + natural language processing to predict and engineer phage-host and mycoviral-host interactions to create a new range of antimicrobials for plants.

Job Description: 

We're looking for a remote microbiologist with fungal biology and/or mycoviral specialization (additional computational biology and bioinformatic skills are preferred). We're looking for someone to do a literature review and come up with research ideas and experiments to better understand how to use mycoviruses to control plant pathogens. 

This job is fully remote 

Requirements

• Full English Proficiency is required.
• Available either part-time (~15-20h/week) or full-time. Please submit your salary expectations and expected time commitment when applying for this job. 
• Experience in fungal biology is required (a PhD is preferred but not required) 
• Experience in mycoviral / viral biology is preferred but not required 
• Computational biology and bioinformatics skills are preferred by not required
