Мы ищем научного сотрудника для работы в Бостоне, Harvard Medical School, Department of Systems Biology. Работа под совместным руководством L. Peshkin & M. Kirschner на общие темы: 

  - биология старения и омоложения, 

  - эво/дево, эволюция, сравнительная эмбриология и геномика. 

 нам не нужен "био-информатик" ... нужен аналитик готовый погрузиться в тему и думать вместе ... который не боит0ся повозиться в лаборатории и иногда поучаствовать в работе экспериментаторов. Проeкты вкратце такие:

 1.  Raman Microscopy разных органов по разным возрастам людей и мышей, требует Machine Learning, Image Parsing, искать новые "hallmarks of aging" с применением совместного распределения по клеткам и тканям липидов и белков, строить "часы" по гистологии  печени, почек. 

2. Cell Atlas in Frogs. Single Cell Atlas and bulk tissue proteomics of developmental stages and organs, tracking germ line and stem cells across development and aging. Defining Cell types, homology to human, building web-based work bench in collaboration with Human Protein Atlas. 

3. Reverse Engineering from pharmacobiology-based on "Kinome Regularization" approaches - apply a small set of poly-specific drugs to a macro phenotypes like migration, secretion, aging, senescence, and figure out (Lasso, Regularized regression) which molecular circuits are responsible for senescence ...

Аs a way to start the conversation, you should study the following papers and make sure you understand, like and want to extend these approaches -- when interviewed, you will likely be questioned оn the details:

For the 1st one, quiz questions:
1. Which groups of genes are studied in this paper, which are largely missing and why ? 

2. What are the physiological constraints on parameters Ks and Kd in optimization, how would you estimate the confidence intervals for these values ? 

3. What are the evolutionary tradeoffs between two extreme strategies - supplying all proteins in the egg vs making all proteins from scratch ?
