Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Bioinformatician with proficient Python coding skills to join our team. This role involves researching cognitive enhancements, validating them with scientific evidence, and implementing these features in our app’s backend. The ideal candidate will be at the intersection of bioinformatics and software development, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in cognitive enhancement technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research to identify biological insights related to cognitive functions.
• Develop and validate algorithms and models related to cognitive enhancement.
• Implement these models into our app's backend using Python.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest scientific research to ensure our app’s features are supported by credible findings.
• Collaborate with our development team to integrate scientific research into user-friendly app features.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Neuroscience, or a related field (including incomplete degrees).
• Programming skills in Python, experience in developing backend systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into practical application.
• Ability to research potential features which could be integrated in the app.
• Flexibility and adaptability in handling a variety of tasks and projects, as is typical in a small, dynamic team environment

40,000 - 100,000. Salary will be offered based on with fit and experience. Options for profit sharing or ownership stakes are available for interested candidates.
