В чем вы сильны?

I am an expert in protein science, polymer science, and, more important, their combination. I am strong in structural bioinformatics, especially molecular modeling of proteins and protein complexes, intrinsically disordered proteins, and polymers. I also have a strong expirience in wet protein science with a focus on protein stability, enzyme activity, and artificial chaperones.

Hard skills:

Biochemical routines, protein biochemistry, study of protein-polymer colloids;

Physicochemical methods for protein&polymer research, including differential scanning calorimetry, circular dichroism spectroscopy, isothermal titration calorimetry, surface plasmon resonance, dynamic light scattering, analytical ultracentrifugation, etc; some experience with and understanding of NMR, CryoEM, MS, etc.

Structural bioinformatics; protein homology modeling; atomic model building and refinement from CryoEM data; small molecule docking, protein-protein docking;

Molecular dynamics simulations (proteins, polymers, membranes, DNA, IDPs), both atomistic and coarse-grained, REMD; HPC-based computations;

Bioinformatics routines, alignment and phylogeny reconstruction, bioinformatics of biological sequences; programming (Java, Python, bash scripting, etc);

Grants attracted as a leader from Russian Foundation for Basic Researches and Russian Science Foundation (~250k € in total);

Supervision of a PhD student (defended in 2022);

Supervision of Master's thesis and Course projects of MSU students (>10);

Management and contacts with clients in the Dept. of Physical methods of measurements, a core facility center in Belozersky Institute of Physico-Chemical Biology, Lomonosov Moscow State University;

Holding practical courses on physicochemical methods for investigation of biomolecules” for a joint DFG-RFBR project;

Non-scientific leadership: Leading groups of 5-13 people in autonomic trekking and mountaineering (Tian Shan, Pamir-Alay, Mongolia).
